- The picnic basket painting entitled "Where Are the Ants?" has won an Honorable Mention award in the exhibit "It's a Wonderful World!" at the Cape Cod Art Center in Barnstable on Cape Cod. The exhibit will be up until October 15th. Stop by if you get a chance. That was good news!
- PHONE HOURS: Thursday - Saturday 10 to 6 and on Sunday 12 to 5 When I was hired in February of 2020 by the law office, Attorney McGee mentioned that he planned on retiring in 3 to 5 years or die at his desk! I have since realized that he is never going to retire and one of his good "lawyer friends" is 92 and still practicing! So, with all that information, I realized I needed to make a few adjustments. I consider this New News.
- WHDesigns is using a NEW Printing Firm, Allegra. Alan, who owned the New England Printing Company decided to sell and play golf in South Carolina. After 40 years he deserves to have some fun and relax. Fortunately, all my files were transferred over to Allegra so in a perfect world it should all be good. We are in the 'Q' for printing. Did I mention that Mercury is in retrograde?! News News
- For those of you who have been buying WHDesign Calendars, Tiles, Cards, Prints, etc. for a long time understands that I "wear all the hats." And have been doing so pretty much since 2014. Many of you met Janis, my good friend and traveling assistant, when WHDesigns' was on the road doing art and craft shows from 2000 to 2008. Janis use to help with the shipping, but then she and her husband Ben needed to be concentrating more on their business of 'catching lobsters' (let it be known that I did help bring in the traps one December...now there is a project!) Anyway, when any of you order I see the orders, enter them into Quickbooks, write notes to you all (so many of you have been with me almost since the beginning! Thank you, thank you) then it is packaging and shipping. I also print all the cards, cut and score them individually, add the envelopes and in the card box they go. Why am I mentioning all this...because I would like you to know that each one of you is appreciated and I want to embrace that appreciation to each aspect of your order. I hope that makes sense. I'm one person doing the job of about 6 people and I don't want to miss a detail. That is touching News!
